The course constitutes an offer, non-existent in the geographical area of Lisbon, a Bachelor's degree with a strong technical and practical component in the areas of renewable energy and environment.

Future graduates will have a solid formation that make them qualified to support and implement the design of solutions in the area of energy and environment, at project and consulting offices, in the areas of planning and operation of renewable energy systems and management of effluents and wastewater treatment plants. They may also participate in multidisciplinary teams to carry out environmental impact studies and rational use of energy and environmental resources.

Along with most classic goals, the course of study also includes fully innovative aspects that will allow future licensees to offer a relevant contribution in complementary but vital areas to the competitiveness of enterprises, such as occupational health and safety, product design and entrepreneurship.
